  1. WOW!!! The rainfall in Sydney is absolutely Epic!!! Even in London, UK I would have to back a few decades to see rainfall like that. But to be fair it was never as bad. Floods like that destroy homes the Sydney government need to have a serious look at the drainage in the city. Unless the city is surrounded by hills the water level shouldn't be as high as that.

  2. They think we were born yesterday and never experienced rain storms after all it is the rain season get a grip . You should be doing reports on why the same roads get flooded every time it rains go and interview the councils

  3. It seems like few people are aware of the risk to their engine of driving through high water. Hydrolock your engine with water ingestion and you might need a whole new engine from the damage. Expect one or some of destroyed conrods, crank, crankcase, head, block or bearings.

    If you don't NEED to drive through high water, don't! Find a way around or reschedule or delay your trip. You might not get where you want to go AND need to spend big on fixing your car.

    6. Dams and Reservoirs: Properly managed dams and reservoirs can help regulate water flow during heavy rainfall periods, reducing downstream flooding.

    7. Community Education: Educating communities about flood risks, emergency preparedness, and response plans can enhance resilience and reduce the impact of flash floods.
