A proclamation signed by US President Donald Trump has accused Australia of breaking a verbal commitment to reduce aluminium exports to the United States.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is facing criticism for his handling of the steel and aluminium tariff threat from the US President.

“Australia has disregarded its verbal commitment to voluntarily restrain its aluminium exports to a reasonable level,” the proclamation read.

  2. Tariffs don’t mean war folks it just means renegotiations between countries and that everyone is putting in equal shares . This may be good for every country just knowing your country is paying in full and others are not doesn’t make it fair .
