Tropical Cyclone Alfred is now just 75km off east coast of Australia, due to make landfall around 9am.

It’s packing wind gusts up to 130km/h, whipping up wild surf and relentless rain and leaving more than 84,000 homes on both sides of the Queensland/New South Wales border without power. | *Subscribe and 🔔: http://9Soci.al/KM6e50GjSK9*

  1. Northern Idaho here, I'm praying for you. We visit Australia every January and February. We just got back from visiting Sydney & Perth with all it's surrounding towns towards the southern end. We visit the God Coast every other year we visit for a month. Our favorite place is Surfer's Paradise. Cavill avenue is our favorite street. We were there once during a cyclone. We were staying at the Allunga building and watched it from the balcony.

  2. Reference the police officer injured from 3 weeks ago that your channel won't allow comments on. I have seen police in many different places doing far worse, usually when people are outnumbered or in handcuffs. So while ALL violence is wrong do not be surprised that the police sometimes get some of their own medicine. PS I hope the officer makes a full recovery.

  3. the images of the flooding look just like in america during our hurricanes. Ive been through several having grown up in florida. Yall hang in there. Sleep through it if you can. Wait till the sun comes up and the wind dies down before you go out. Just be careful. Good Luck! Hope your power comes back soon.
