Reminds me of Cyclone Tracy on Christmas Day of 1974 in Darwin. The people didn't believe the cyclone was going to go on land, so they didn't evacuate the town, and 66 people died and 30,000 lost their homes.

With all the sand erosion water move's faster over shallow area's creating deeper troughs we're water escapes the beach area's leaving stronger currents and rips

Currents recirculation will bring sand back .but floating debris on the ocean for time to come can create dangerous conditions to ocean goers swimming through to boating goes for rivers aswell.
