May the family find peace in the loss 💔
Normalcy Bias. She had a daily ritual of swimming in those waters as a lifesaver. People get complacent and think "things can't happen.". ……….until they do. Sad.
people dont realize but if a shark goes into attack mode, there really is nothing people can do in the water to stop a bite, they can move super fast when they are hungry after all it is their world, we are just visitors, Captain Quint from Jaws said it best with you being in the water, shark is in the water and then sings his song of farewells.
Perhaps group swimmers should have a drone operator on the beach when they plan their swim
❤👍👍👍
😢
Australia got the most dangerous animals on Earth.
Why da heck reporter taaaaaalk liiiike
Ddddddaaaaaat. Like she has no lips
Prayers for her family and the victim…😢😢😢😢
Why swim in shark infested waters known worldwide as the most dangerous place?? For the thrill, maybe??
Being over 300 feet out in the sea is technically quite far for a person to be swimming or caught in a rip tide or current… Just saying. In an ideal world, people would be able to do that without exposing themselves to such an increase in potential consequences. Warmest condolences. 🕊️
My heart hurts for this family. May she rest in peace.

So young and beautiful 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Australia is so dangerous in so many ways …
God bless 🙏
Il paraît qu elle n etait pas si loin du bord quelle tragédie repose en paix
Someone wrote a great book on this subject called White girl bleed a lot.
Play stupid games and win stupid prizes. Don't pick a safe Savin career if you can't save yourself
how unfortunate… and rather unlikely and thus even more unfortunate.
why unlikely?
well simple… we aren't in their food pyramid so to speak, the reason they bite is because they confuse us temporarily for prey, that's why comparatively there's many more light bites than severe injuries or deaths involving sharks, they really don't want to eat us if there's any other options, and no…just watch tests, they don't go loony for a bit of blood.
they really just want to usually move on to find food…perhaps it was starving or "stuck" and frustrated? hmm…how odd.
Swimming in the ocean is a roll of the dice
If I live in Australia I would never get in the ocean. You never know when a Great White is going to have dinner
orcas might have something to do with this scaring the sharks closer to the coastal shallow waters we get in their way
This really sucks and was 100% preventable. When are people going to learn to stay out of an apex predators domain?
STAY OUT OF THE OCEAN!! Its that simple!!!
🙏🏻
RIP
So sad 😢
Smimming in murky water that is too deep for you to stand up and walk is a gamble I will never take. The reward just isn't worth the possible horror.
Everyone knows about sharks especially in Australia waters, no one believes they will be a victim
Very sad, but a reminder that we are not ment to be in the ocean.
