  1. My bank (of nearly 40 years !!) FROZE all my accounts without warning or discussion. I found myself in lengthy phone queues waiting to speak to people with foreign accents that didn't seem to care. It took over 8 hours on the phone, multiple branch visits, a letter and an ombudsmans (AFCA) complaint to resolve this in 6 days. I DID receive a compensation payment (to settle the AFCA complaint) for "inconvenience", but never a proper explanation WHY I was completely locked out and could not conduct ANY transaction. SIX DAYS!! Henceforth, I've made it a personal policy to use CASH ONLY. When something like this happens to YOU, you're going to get quite a shock 🙁

  2. Instead of typing cash is king. We as a society need to put our foot down and say no. Literally if atleast half of Australia physically went to Parliment screaming cash is king Our government would freak out realising theres over 10 million people standing there ground. But hey thats dream land we are all to brainwashed and scared by our government to do such a thing…..

  3. Cash is part of Australia's culture. Tourists see our beautiful money which is unique to Australia.

The beauty of paper notes should never be phased out.

Paper notes are beautiful and I love see to see the cash notes of other countries.

  4. Money is still legal tender the world has gone mad what is going to happen if everyone goes electric and power is out you cant do anything fuel groceries bills i am not going card i will always use cash money is still legal tender they can't just stop using money its illegal

  5. Cash is legal tender and should stay. Those who say you have to go find a ATM to get cash out as a reason for not having it are lazy. I have been paying in cash all my life I am 54 years old. I budget my money which is what cash teaches you, and I dont pay fees for using a card.
