Australians have reacted to Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 US presidential election.

“I think the people voted for who they wanted to vote for and good on him,” a Sydney man told Sky News Australia on Thursday.

“I think he might be ok for the economy and for the people.”

  1. Australians wish we had someone like trump who would put its citizens first. We are barely surviving on inflation and can’t even feed our family with daily groceries. Seriously fix our economy. We are enslaved to work overtime and barely having any money for savings and living check by check.

  2. President Trump winning the Senate and House is the worst possible outcome for democracies all over the world. Trump is a danger to us all and good luck world for surviving another round 🙈

  3. Regardless of liking him or thinking he is an idiot- as most Americans are, anyone with a brain cell and not just hurt opinions can see he had the states in far better shape and there was zero conflicts going on, look at it now.

  4. Hes happy to have a Sydney local beer and not a bud? That's a morons right there who doesn't understand global politics.

Bro, if you leave it to the democrats, not only will the Americans be drinking a Chinese imported beer, but so will you. Trump is about localising industry. There's a time and place for China.

  5. I am not Australian but I supported Donald Trump anyway and I am proud of his victory in the presidential election. He will bring benefits to both America and the world. He will eliminate the stupid woke agendas that have caused so much damage to people's mental health and have brought mass layoffs, bankruptcies and billions in losses. These woke agendas and 2030 are to blame for all these disasters in the West by the progressive left. His economic plans will benefit the country and therefore the world. Australia will also benefit if America does it first.

  6. Bondi Beach, for the best informed interviews. And opinions on world politics, let's do interviews at Bondi. This truly expresses the lack of range & direction journalism has become. 😮 Why not conduct an interview just for overseas likes & air time

  7. I have to ask, what is going on at the end with those two guys in the background with backpacks that look like a pack of cigarettes with one cigarette extended?

I am asking because this is the first time I have seen such a thing. Do they sell snacks or cold drinks or bottles of suntan lotion that are kept in the backpacks?

  8. How do tariffs on China from the US impact negatively on Australia I don’t get it are these people just parroting what they hear without ever understanding. Surely tariffs on China from the US are beneficial to Australia
