Four men have been buried under rubble hundreds of metres underground, at a mine near Picton on the outskirts of Sydney’s south-west.

In other news, Anthony Albanese has announced a $2.3 billion investment that would slash the cost of household batteries by 30 per cent as part of a combined cost of living and climate change action pitch to voters.

While Peter Dutton has vowed to slash international student numbers, allow early access to superannuation for first home buyers and ban foreign investment to “restore the dream of home ownership” for young Australians.

  1. GM3 is an emerging Australian metallurgical coal mining entity owned by global investment entity
Golden Energy and Resources ( GEAR ) owned by the Widjaja family who are ranked number 2 on the list of Indonesia's 50 richest .
Golden Energy and Resources is part of the Sinar Mas group which is one of the largest conglomerates in Indonesia who's business sectors include, pulp and paper, Agri-business and food, financial services, developer and real estate, communications and technogoly, Energy and infrastructure and healthcare and has faced criticism over deforestation and land grabbing.

  2. China has more agricultural/industrial/commercial robots than the rest of the world combined, 10 times the US does. It's leading in many other critical technologies too. The only real things the US has left is advanced chip design (not even manufacturing without Taiwan) and some of the pharmaceuticals. It’s not even leading in the research and application of nuclear technology (not quantity but quality) and genetic engineering on many degrees compared to China. In non-critical areas China is also at the forefront, highways, bridges, tunnels, car making, ship building, the construction and manufacturing of many other types of projects. While California may be still struggling in their high speed rail to be hopefully completed sooner than later anyway, China's two-thirds of the world's bullet trains most operating at 250~380km/h (155~236 mph) are the safest in the world and almost never late since more than a decade ago. Just an example, a very QUICK AND SIMPLE EXAMPLE

  3. There are so many indicators that suggest at what pace economic activity has continued to expand and block traders tend to know them better. For total size, Bureau of Economic Analysis uses the expenditure approach to calculate GDP (nominal), which tends to result in a larger figure than that from what National Bureau of Statistics of China uses the production approach. In terms of the more scientific GDP (PPP) understanding of the real sizes, the US has the second largest economy in the world, around 75~80% the size of China's economy. If they both use the same method, it's hard to say which country's GDP (nominal) is larger, but the GDP (PPP) figures would likely be around 1 : 2 if not even worse. Just an example, a very QUICK AND SIMPLE EXAMPLE

  4. Not sure how reducing international students is changing anything. Most live in university housing or share housing while here. You just have to make sure they leave after they graduate. There needs to be more housing and infrastructure in areas that aren’t prone to fire or flood.

  5. 1 is only going to help the rich not the pensioners or students or young people renting they don't have solar or anything so Batteries are not a option. Other is adressing a temporary fix for lack of housing. Neither are really addressing underlying issues.

  6. Australian made solar panels and batteries? Sounds like another way to line China’s pockets and fudge our carbon emissions count to make Labor’s reckless net zero policy appear worthwhile, Mr Peter Dutton has my vote 👍🇦🇺🍻

  7. The PM does not care about cost of living . Not everyone had Solar so you batteries are again a lie because you stenosis tax payers money for a few to use this method so we didn’t give you permission to keep spending tax payers money on just one source of energy Albo.
