The Ironic thing is that in this situation the Government are the biggest thugs. Several years ago they made AUD$16B in tax for the "QUIT Program". An audit showed that AUD$6B was unspent. Making it illegal for civilians to grow their own Tobacco only serves to create a "Black Market" just as it did with Cannabis. As a smoker of 24yrs, only recently having quit 6weeks ago. People aren't gonna stop smoking until they want to, hiking taxes and skyrocketing prices only creates a higher demand for discount cigarettes

The tobacco companies and the Government: Oh cigarettes are fine, they cause no harm to you and they are good for helping you relax. They knew, they knew all along the dangers but they addicted people and then slapped them on the wrist for smoking them, all so that they could put taxes on them and make a fortune. Even doctors back then told their patients that if they felt nervous or stressed to smoke a cigarette. THEY ARE ALL CRIMINALS as far as I'm concerned.

Then your putting the up tax on a beer. So you don’t want to pay for my old age but you want me to live. Longer so you get more tax. I have to be broke stressed out can not have and can not afford a beer or a smoke. Well Centrelink best be setting up a day spa so we can have detoxification. O wait that’s only for the ones on the hard drugs all others who work just pay more.
