  1. i live in Ingham and BOM was way to slow to issue warnings for this rain event. other independent weather forecasters prodicted and warned us a week ago, Bom gave us less then 24 hours warning so please have this looked into and ask some question because people of this region were left in the unknown

  2. Ah , North Queensland , beautiful one day , Perfect the next . The heat is gone the rain is here . The wet season , the rivers & streams are running a banker , the gentle rain falling , the farmers & primary producers are smiling . Beautiful tropics . Why would you want to live anywhere else in Australia 🇦🇺 ?? . You have a nice day and a cold beer 🍺 or a Moscato light & refreshing wine 🍷 tonight . Wouldn’t be dead for quids . 3. The BOM were slow to call this but also some of these weather Pages on FB looking at you "Wally's Weather" were initially saying "oh we don't want to scare anybody like other weather Pages it's just a low nothing to worry about" …as soon as the low formed North Queenslanders should have been preparing, I feel sorry for the southerners who moved up here and have been caught out unprepared because they listened to these Page more worried about "scaring" them than preparing them.

  4. Oh BS! This happens every year and these muppets spout the same BS year after year. Building on a flood plain, covering it with McMansions with tiny drains. Then all the creeks and natural runoffs are covered in roads and concrete. That's why it floods. It's part of living in a sub-tropical region.
