Travel insurance?. How could you go to Indonesia without it. A go fund me page.
00:45 It’s SANUR not SUNAR 🤦🏻♀️
Is there no such thing as proofreading and quality control any more when reporting the news?
Danger can happen anywhere, on the road, in a car, or on a boat
How could anyone even consider flying to Bali without insurance. Fools
Who would even fly out of Australia to any other country in the world without travel insurance?
It’s irresponsible, selfish, and smells of entitlement.
after what happened to Corby i have no idea why Aussies go to that neck of the woods. ??
0:45 It's Sanur – not Sunar. If you can't read, you're in the wrong job.
never go cheap on your overseas holiday
Why do people insist on going to Bali. Stay at home in Australia.
Why does she speak like that. Is that the standard for professional reporters now?
The woman telling this story speaks in an affected voice. It's 'put on' (since about 2000) by some newsreaders and is extremely annoying.
Why a go fund me, 'Travel Insurance' …is a real thing.
It's weird to command Australians to stay away from sea, wait till natural disaster struck them then they blame on others. Everyone living at the mercy of Mother Nature but their exceptionality prevails when shyt happens.
Inevitable occurrence, zero safety zero training, zero accountability
Funny that Indos are surrounded by the sea but are terrible sailors, be very afraid of Indos on the water.
So sad 😢
Should medevac her to Perths’ Fiona Stanley. It’s far closer, & a brilliant burn centre. Can transfer to Royal Brisbane later when she’s stable.
This company is Indo Compass I went on the exact same boat end of January and almost drowned and lost my life.
The other skipper couldn't even stop what he was doing, look at the person and acknowledge this trumatic, horrific loss of life, or the terrible injuries sustained to Australians. Deeply sorry for their families. The Balanese will be held responsible😢
What, no travel insurance?
Stop the GoFundMe pages,If you can't afford insurance then you can't afford the holiday.
The lady who lost her life was not a resident of Canberra, she was a Melbournian. I believe Canberra was the birthplace on her passport but has lived in Melbourne most of her life.
People are continually warned about taking out their own travel insurance. If you can't afford travel insurance, you shouldn't be travelling. Also the news reader needs to learn how to pronounce 'Sanur' (Sa-new-ah)
Were they even wearing life jackets. .?
When will this stop? So many accidents there. Same for the trip to Gili. Simply dangerous!
I am in Sanur now and given the weather, the boat should NEVER have been allowed and would be paranoid about small vessels where the regulations are not enforced
