Why does it take election frenzy for politicians to be concerned by crime, drugs and exploitation of children? They promise answers and then deliver nothing as they use emotions to manipulate voters. In order for police to act the laws need to be looked at in conjunction with promising money. They can only police the law. So we need laws looked at . The country does not need bandaid solutions thrown at the voting public at election time. We need accountability, more independent's or others in the mix for a true attempt at change. I have seen the same two party system pre election dance since before I was old enough to vote. Given I am at the senior end, that is many elections.
