  1. Looking at other forecasts for the regional towns in Northern NSW – Casino, Kyogle etc – while there will definitely be flood rains – they all agree on that – most still have maximum wind speeds for the week at 35mph or 55-60kph. Either they don't know about the cyclone, have got it completely wrong, or there is a lot of hype about. Go figure!

  2. They really need to turn it back to the female names..,
Alfred sounds like a builder to me 🤷‍♂️
    “Gale” winds????
Never met a man called Gale..,
    Watch out feminists in Queensland..,
There is another “man” on his way to ruin your lives…
Why you just can’t just call it a cyclone and rate it on a science basis like they do with earthquakes is beyond me..,
    A cyclone is a cyclone..,
    A hurricane is a hurricane..,
    A spade is a spade..,
Naming it after somebody’s divorcee won’t rebuild houses or build flood levy’s etc

  3. I’m live in Wellington point near the beach but I’m praying for my fellow Queenslanders that we are prepared enough and stay safe during this time 🙏there’s not much else we can do Mother Nature will take her course
