There should not be a dual citizenship option.
You take up Australian citizenship, you automatically revoke any other citizenship, and evidence of such MUST be provided before Australian citizenship is granted.

Not many are genuine, it’s all about what they can get out of it. In my humble opinion I believe that people who are not citizens of a country(any country) should not be allowed to own land or property in that country. They should only be able to lease land and properties or build property for their business activities only. This allows overseas businesses to profit from their activities, not profit from the buying and subsequent selling of land and property. Makes sense?

It is high time the government implement these new laws because I know for a fact that Sponsor's are PAID to bring in as many people from Bangladesh as they can. They are then housed FOR FREE in Emergency Housing created to house Australian citizens who have lost their homes. Ive been working in Asia for over a decade and woukd really like to go home and settle down with my wife of 10yrs. But the 10k cost to applybfor her visa would be ok if it was a one off payment. If we fail we have to apply and pay again so I feel like Im stuck out of my home country at the moment.
