  1. I've lost so much through the life of my super, lost 40k in the 2000 resection and no support from the government or the supper funds….so I've been pulling it out and surviving now of what the government has done in the past years…can not trust them with your money…..also by the age of 66 man have 200k to 230k and women have 180k to 200k but now need minimum 750k at 66 just to survive….most of Australia will be on a national payment scheme when we are old. The sad truth.

  2. I already said stop going digital,it will become the great reset, they trust in it till it bites back soon you may Not get out of it,everything is at a loss, good excuse once a war is on the horizon

  3. When I heard journalists stating that Australian’s will be ok in the long run regarding the tariffs imposed recently because Australian’s have superannuation and such – I knew instantly that blurting that out over news media was a huge mistake and any kind of cyber criminals able to hear that within our own country (especially those in cahoots with others outside our country) were going to take that as a simple “here’s our next target”.

I’m no longer surprised, only reassured that things have gone in the absolute wrong direction and massive things need to be done to correct things.

  4. Grrrrr Why why why are these businesses not learning from other exact same attacks and not increasing their security. Honestly, no business or person is safe. Law suits will grow and grow. Do something about it now!!! Simple!!

  5. Australian Super Funds need to lift their game, yesterday:-
Why are members' passwords, held on a server, not encrypted?
How can members' usernames and passwords be stolen and the members not advised, promptly?
Why is Two Factor Authentication (2FA) not insisted on in all situations, with members not allowed to opt out of that authetication.

  6. It is very interesting how the cyber attack has happened right at the time of deep dive on the share markets. Is that a very strange coincident? What is a chance? Now, even if any money was stolen, (let’s face it 0.5milion is noting for that big Superfund) we have burning question to answer: How do we know that Australian Superfund is not going to cut any it’s loses, legitimate or not so much, and spread them proportionally over all super accounts? Who would be able or willing to notice it, prove it or disapprove it? By the way- it can take the ATO up to 14 days to either accept or deny your online application (or 28 days for paper applications). It can take further time for your fund to process the application after it is approved by the ATO (according to The Financial Rights Legal Centre.
For your information- my yesterdays comment was censored…

  7. It’s so funny how these government controlled funds are not being looked after. I mean you use all peoples funds in your possession to boost your government pockets but have no idea how to protect people money. Disgusting

  8. I’m not sure how this works if someone can explain. We give money to supers. They get hacked/robbed and drained, and we’re the ones who lose our money. Surely the funds whose responsibility is to look after our money are the ones who’ve been robbed from and it should be their responsibility to make up for the lost funds…
