  1. Hey karl, always a big fan of yours the way to represent everything. Can you please share in your video why engineers australia taking so long for the assessment even though applications was fast track

  2. Pretending any of the migrants are skilled is beyond delusional. They are tylically near useless. Learn slow, dont know literally anytning. Your better off with a 15 yo who didnt finish high school than indian immigrants with fake qualifications, no interest in the field, and 0 shits given on the quality of the work.

Dont get me wrong some of them are nice blokes. But they dont learn anything and hard to train or work with, actually trying train in IT is a complete waste of time.

And nom of them will do trade work. They dont like labour, and labor is for poor people of bottom class, so its seen as bad positions.

  3. Karl, thank you for your content, they are not prioritizing regional , we are suffering , 494 visa grants are non existant and processing times keep increasing , plus we need to be 3 years on the visa plus 3 years of work experience and 191 processing time is now 9 months. we need our voices to be heard . conditions are so unfair comparing all the benefits 482 has now , it seems like a never ending pathway

  4. Hi Karl, 191 visa applicant here
Can you convey our message to DOH please?
We keep our promise of living and working in regional areas, contributing to regional towns and cities. Now it’s the government turn to keep their promise by granting 191 visa promptly.
This waiting and discrimination against regional visa holders are insane. No child car subsidy, FIRB, foreign stamp duty to buy house, limited job opportunity. This is just too unfair, and sad, and inhuman way to treat us.

  5. Karl thank you for your content 494 regional visa , 105 ministry direction is just a direction no priority processing we are waiting for months now, most of us are frustrated as the processing times keep increasing and the sponsoring employers are also loosing interest, it feals like we are let down. Please make your self heared on this matter tx keep up the good work.

  6. Hello, I would like to highlight the challenges faced by 494 visa holders. We are skilled professionals committed to contributing to regional Australia, but our visa conditions feel disproportionately restrictive compared to the concessions offered to other visa categories. The three-year waiting period to apply for the 191 visa, combined with lengthy processing times, prevents us from fully participating in the community—like purchasing property, starting businesses, or making long-term investments.

We kindly ask for more attention to be given to regional visa holders. Our contributions are vital for regional growth, but we need policies that support us in achieving our potential as future permanent residents. Thank you for considering these points!"

  7. Hi Karl, please help us with the processing time of visa 191, especially for the application of 494 holders, we have been living and working in the regional area for at least four years(1-2years waiting for the visa granted, 3years as the conditions) we were expecting after that 4-5years we will become a permanent resident soon, now with the increasing waiting period for visa 191 being granted, it’s another 8-9month, compared with other visa, it is really a long long time. And you know the regional area can be really remote, for example I have to drive a couple of hours to do grocery shopping in Coles , one hour for medical treatment, three hours to get to the airport…more importantly, with less people here and limited job opportunities, it’s really difficult to meet new people or improve any skills for better careers. We should have more chance for improve ourselves and contribute ourselves to the country we like. I’m just asking, if it takes that long, at least there are some flexibility like once we have completed our three years and submitted the application for 191, we are free to move somewhere else and can have different jobs instead of only being permitted to work for the sponsor employer.
Thank you so much. There are so many people are waiting for the good news.

  8. I applied for my 191 visa in May when the processing time was 4 monhts, now it is already 9 months. It is so frustrating to have to wait this long for such a simple visa application. We have already waited 3 years with the 491 visa.

  9. They don't prioritize regional visas. 191 is a hell of a wait. It's sad to have a long wait for 191 after waiting 3 yrs of working in a regional area. And 482 visas getting granted as soon as 21 days. It's just unfair.

  10. Hi Karl,
Being a 494 visa holder facing many difficulties such as, 191PR visa processing time increases every month by home affairs department. My employer going to close his business and I will have to find another sponsor as not sure about processing time while im in 6 months grace period. When I do so I have to change my kids school(they have been attending school 3years) and accommodation . Secondly, my daughter studying at tafe but she has to pay full tuition fees if that course are free for other visas and pr holders. This is not my problems it is facing other 494 visa holders and 191 applicants as well. If you can raise the voice and support to get rid from this frustrating issues it would be appreciated by all 191 applicants.

  11. Hi Karl,

Recently myself and wife have got 491 visa grant. Due to my baby’s medical condition we won’t be able to include in our process. I have applied subsequent visa for my baby. Just want to know if my baby fails medical examination, it will impact on my grant as well.
Can immigration revoke my visa grant as well ?

  12. Hi Karl, for 191 visa holders it’s Absolutely outrageous! The visa processing times for transitioning from a 491 to a 191 visa are unacceptable. After waiting a year to get the 491 visa approved, then fulfilling all the conditions for three more years, now we’re faced with an additional 8+ month wait just to move to the 191. The system is beyond frustrating and takes a serious toll on mental health. People’s lives are put on hold, unable to plan for the future. Home Affairs needs to address these delays—this is an incredibly unfair experience for hardworking individuals.

  13. Hi Karl,

Thank you for your inspiring videos; they truly motivate us. I would like to express our concerns regarding the transition from the 494 visa to the 191 visa. The waiting period feels excessively long. We need to work for three years to qualify for the 494 visa, and then we must work an additional three years to be eligible for the 191 visa. Furthermore, the processing time for permanent residency seems significantly longer compared to the 482 visa.

  14. i Karl,

Thank you for sharing your content. As a 494 Visa holder, I wanted to reach out to you for some support, as we are facing significant challenges.

To begin with, once our visa is approved, we’re required to stay with the same employer for three years. However, many of us have already been working with the same employer for longer than that, yet we still face long waiting periods for visa approval, which can take months to process. After that, we face a similar situation with the 191 visa, where we have to wait again, often for up to 8 months, for it to be granted.

On top of all this, we are also required to live in a regional area, which adds another layer of difficulty.

It’s really disheartening to feel like we’ve been overlooked in this process. While we may be managing for now, the reality is that the current situation could discourage future applicants from seeking sponsorship in regional areas, as it places them at a disadvantage.

We’re in a tough spot, and it would mean a lot to have more attention on our situation.

    Thank you for listening.

  15. Of course I do not wish for millions of humans from dodgy cultures nor millions of humans over populating our country. But All these visas and immigration have destroyed my family and our finances Good Australian tax paying citizens because they kicked out my 5 year on and off partner… officially only 3 months.. who also cared for and supported me with my cancer sick family for the last 5 years!.. she is now stuck in Ireland, surviving suicidal and anxiety attacks. I am dead along with my family. The government did this and I have no idea how to fix it without spending 9months of living and accomodation for 2 people travelling to make an attempt at the partner visa. Nothing is clear. Except my family is torn and broken, bank accounts emptying, with lives at risk! I believe it is fraud and they do not intend for people to stay in the country… they just want these wealthy foreigners injecting money and cheap labour into our economy only to achieve nothing. The government is raking wealthy foreign parents and their bank accounts my bank account.. what a year. Sad times for this Aussie and Aussie family.

  16. Hi Karl, I'm a motor mechanic in SA , I submitted my ROI for 491 visa with 85 points, and didn't get invited, however my classmate with same occupation and 65 points got invited, what metrics are being used in selecting applicants ? Because it does not make any sense in their selection process at all

  17. Why would the government be advertising for people overseas to come here and be tour guides? Surely there are enough Australians that include the indigenous population to apply for these positions. Even some senior Australians would be interested and would have a world of knowledge.

  18. Fantastic.Tradesman who come to Australia are not up to our standards .In engineering I've seen overseas so called tradesman terrible NZ one of the worst. Marvelous what a printing machine can conjure up.
