  1. yeah, but what's the overall net profit? for all we know it could be $190 billion, and if by that, not making that extra $190 million is just like a mid-wage working person not making an extra couple of half-yearly dollars. just like a brush off the shoulder. big deal. greedy much. also you speculate us, as consumers, cross-shopping…uhm yeah, you do the same with coles in cross-pricing – one week you're on special and conveniently next week coles is on special for the same products. >>>colesworth<<< you're not fooling anyone

  2. Can see why ..they took out the express lane .. woolies didn't .I have gone into coles and IV though …gee …I have seen criminals more organized then this business …you grow old while your waiting for service .. always easy to get into coles and hard to get out of …coles service is crap ..I never shop there any more ..

  3. America and Australia have proven that a two party system only benefits politicians and their crony lackeys, but the weirdest part is it seems to satisfy citizens who are being treated like brainless idiots.

  4. This segment is absolute nonsense. What's the point moaning about the pocket change they lost when their rip off profiteering has been going on for years previously. Ooh shucks only $1.4 billion this year….honestly apart from rampant government incompetence greed both personal and collective is one of the main drivers of this cost of living crisis

  5. Wonder why disappointed with the results both woollies and Coles havnt learnt their lesson with prices who in their right might would buy a large jar of coffee at $400grams for $32 when you can get it for under $20 I've got 4 large jars now you got rocks in your head if you buy at$32

  6. Everyone should just shop at Aldi! Food sits on the shelves at Coles and Woolworths for too long because no one wants to pay the overpriced costs. People go in for convenience, grab three items, and walk out having spent $40. Then, when the products are close to their expiry date, the stores finally reduce the prices.

The cost of kids’ lunches these days is outrageous—it’s crazy!

  7. Bohoo they made a few cents less while they spend their profits on build mega factories or is it due to people being aware they are getting Ripped off and Taking there business elsewhere. They're charging 50% to 150% more on all products within last few years. Who out here is warning 50% more wages?
