  1. Hey everyone! Co-writer and director of ATROPA here. Very excited to share the series with you โ€“ be sure to catch all seven episodes, releasing one-per-day this week. I'm happy to answer any questions below, and hopefully some of our awesome cast and crew will chime in as well. Many thanks to the team at DUST, and to everyone for watching and supporting the show. Enjoy!

  2. The actor to portray Cole is so pretty, just saying.

  3. One of the best SF series I've seen in recent years. And I've seen many. Absolutely top notch in every aspect! Thanky you very, very much for doing this ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Looking good, gonna watch the other episodes.
What I like here in particular is that the vehicle of the Officer Cole is in need of a paint job, the hull lshows wear and tear. But I think it makes sense. Gritted by space junk, ultraviolet radiation, whatever else. Hard growth from space moss and tardigrades, lol. And maybe it has been in use for many years. The bigger ship looks a bit newer.

  6. Amazing start! Watching part two next!

  7. After watching the entire series, I come back to comment on the first: watch them all. Very satisfying.

  8. Concept is interesting and hopefully the rest of the series is as good.

  9. Valley Forge…nuff said, need to watch the rest now ๐Ÿ˜€

  10. I HATE THESE STUPID UNEXPLAINED ENDINGS!!!!!

  11. What? Just didn't get this at all

  12. He looks like a Brooklyn Cop, maybe ex marine or ex navy ๐Ÿค”

  13. Hi Eli or anybody!
According to Eli, this is a love story.
An atropa is a flower from the nightshade familly (potatoes, tomatoes, belladonna being the poisonous cousin!)
And yet, lf l could understand the correlation between the two, l would grasp the essence of the movie.
To understand Matrix , one would read Plato's cave, David Chalmers and Descartes.
Bling bling lighting…ominous music and good acting..yes…so what?
I'm sure Eli has a message of some sort.

  14. I'm gonna have to watch the entire series. Glad I found episode 1.
ANTHONY BONAVENTURA looks pretty buff for a guy living on a space police cruiser. Must have as weight room in that little ship of his.

  15. I honestly donโ€™t understand why you so very talented people are not making major films & TV shows these shorts remind me of classic television the outer limits, the twilight zone, people want escapism & you all serve it up in boatloads! Bravo Dust! Bravo!

  16. This stuff is awesome serious outer limits vibe!

  17. It gets going at 2:20. Excellent.

  18. Wow, just happened to check this out! Great stuff.

  19. this was very good. I enjoyed it. one comment/question/slight criticism? – it seemed odd to me that he would leave his craft and enter another one, completely unaware (or no reference to checking) if there is atmosphere or pressure and goes out in a t-shirt? other than that loved it.

  20. Isn't there a light switch on board?

  21. Outstanding!!
Was going to watch one and ended up doing all seven.
All the characters were well developed, outstanding on all points

  22. Follow the 10 commandments Christians and ask for forgiveness so you go to heaven

  23. Bombastic loud music always is a sign of a poor storyline.

  24. Hah, love the Carolco style logo – now, time to watch the rest ๐Ÿ˜€

  25. Who writes this ignorant dribble?
Guess they didn't watch any "Alien" movies huh? They wouldn't board a dead vessel, that's stupid and suicide! Ya send a drone robot to gather intel before you even attempt to board to see why the crew are all gone, before you board and end up just like them!

  26. NOTE TO FILM STUDENTS;;;;; do not play music during dialog

  27. "like a BULLET through cheese" WtFFF man lol,,just subbed,,Dam good show that man, thanks 4 sharing, never STOP Loving,,xbxx

  28. snore wake me when something happens.

  29. It is important to provide some modicum of "episodic resolution" (satisfaction or closure). It is fine to leave plenty of openings for future development, but it is cruel to open a new can of worms, at the end of an episode. ( "Yes", though … Everyone did their job and I was sucked in).

  30. I know its done for the ambience or the plot but I still get bugged by the fact that in all these high-tech settings, the flashlight they carry is dimmer than my bicycle headlight.

  31. why would a spacecraft have yellow reflecting tape on its side ๐Ÿค”

  32. Event horizon meets aliens

  33. Excellent series, loved seeing Michael Ironside again,

  34. have to admit this was pretty good.
