They were nearly scrapped but Sydney’s bendy buses are now making a comeback.
Repairs on dozens of double-carriage coaches are almost complete, with the first set to hit the road this month, and it’s huge relief for commuters.

China is the largest exporter of machinery (and largest exporter of cars under the category of machinery->vehicles), with vehicle exports (including cars, trucks, MHCV, etc.) accounting for ONLY 3% of its total exports. Think about it. Just an example, a very QUICK AND SIMPLE EXAMPLE
We all know about Wuhan, so take it as an example. Search wuhan 2024 no.10, indeed a lot of infrastructure there as you can see. But that's just the most superficial layer of the skin and the least important. That's why it's alarming.
On the Buses with Stan, Jack and inspector Blakey and not forgetting lovely Olive of course .
This Is What The ACT GOVERNMENT Should Be Doing With Our Older Fleets 😃. InStead Of Buying Chinese Sh*t 🤬. Also Get Australian Jobs & Australian Built Going Again 😃
If you need a bendy bus – it's probably time to invest in a Light Rail/Tram line.
LETSSS GOOOOOOO
Volvo safe cars but not safe buses.
I was always wondering where they went
What’s happening with the port botany ones

With these being my favourite buses, I am obviously very happy with this news
I am deeply sexist. Credibility of a woman explaining engineering is minimal. I am certain she had no part in solving the issue. Only in complainng about it. And getting paid exorbitantly.
The Volvo B12BLEA’s are returning
DIY job? Come on
whats the point, whats the bloody point if they removed the best seat on the darn things
NO SPINNY SEAT I DONT CARE
VOLVO B12BLEA COMING BACK FOR NORTH SHORE? HELL YEAH
But we live in Victoria, so dont care.
lets face it Sydney will never have a metro system to cover its territory, the only way is to create a metro system with buses.
You'll need hundreds of buses smaller and more frequent with many stops. ELECTRIC BUSES……a traffic will slowly diminish !!!!
Hooray they are coming back.
soon I will talk about the Volvo B12 BLE bendy buses
Ideas people
Our politicians
Got it out of the pool room
Of course. Why only use these on Northern Beaches. Why use them in the west where government is pushing development but not increasing transport at the same rate?
Northern beaches will never get a rail system or tram light rail as they want to stay protected from the rest of the world.
Shows brisbane is better 😂 😂
My favourite Artic Bus was The MK III Mercedes 0305G. Sadly those are no longer with us though thankfully a few are preserved.
finally, THESE BUSES ARE FKING COMING BACK YESSIR
YESSIR
Whatever happened to the roll out of EV buses? I only see maybe one or two if that.
Theyre called articulated buses , not "bendy" buses. Get it right youre the news
Hard hitting journalism right here
Accordion busses are back…😊😁
W
Just make a double deck. But welcome back!
Wales truck repairs must of made a mint, considering no mention of repair costs id assume 100k each maybe almost almost 10 million spent in repairs.
All these problems arise due to an exploding population, which the government can easily control but won't because it'll hurt their property portfolios.
