  1. An insightful report on the evolving stance of Opposition Leader Peter Dutton regarding work-from-home policies. The coverage effectively highlights the implications of such policy shifts on public servants and the broader workforce. It's crucial to understand how these decisions impact work-life balance and productivity. Thank you for shedding light on this significant development.

  2. Rubbish. As a business owner, I pay an office lease I pay wages and my employees are contracted an average of 38 ordinary hours. People complaining about coming into an office that you’re employed to go to is just wild. We need more businesses especially corporations to mandate what was irrespective of all the complainers. You pay their wages you dictate the employment contract and if it’s clauses you to come into the office then suck it up or find another job elsewhere that can accomodate to your needs and not the business needs.

  3. He didn’t provide any concrete evidence for how he would supposedly deal better with US/foreign negotiations. We’ve gotten off with some of lowest tariff’s in the world at 10% so what exactly would he do better?

  4. Did he actually answer one single question? Sarah asked the right questions but Mr Dutton was hell bent on smearing the government rather than answering and showing robust choice for the electorate. What has happened to the Liberal Party? They have become so petty and pointless. Do better, we need real choice. BTW only 34% of public servants work in Canberra, the rest are all over Australia! So 34% of <64K…Hmmm!

  5. Dutton might get beaten in his electorate….join Howard with his 1960 view on everything…no release of his program but they will before as then not much time to answer to Australian voters…. remember Howard re wages .and anti union….keep them out….they join together with national party to beat major party followers…..the palace party…jim

  6. Amazing, you actually have comments open! Slow clap for you!! You say 'backflip' I say, at least he is LISTENING to the people and admits when he is wrong!! Unlike Albo, who tried to force feed us all a change to our constitution that would enable separation by race – which cost us over 500 Million dollars! He did not listen, we voted against it. The states did not listen, they are trying to do it on their own anyway! They will be voted out. Yes, Labor won the recent WA election, but that was a shoe in considering Liberals literally only had THREE people left!!!!! Fun fact, the Liberals DOUBLED their total at this election so did the National party, that is a win! Regaining ground of 100% what they were for the last 4 years – nobody points this out!

  7. Ok. since when has the left owned the political debate? This is the leader of the Opposition. Sarah Abdo is completely disrespectful. Dutton has rightly asked if it is ok for federal public servants to get unlimited access to working from home arrangements when around the country both state and council workers are being asked to return to the office by their state labor colleague as Chris Mins in NSW is doing?
