  1. It’s not just in cases like this either, my home got caught up in floods, I’m partly disabled & pay St John’s every week for an alarm & an ambulance.

This flood hit & it was to my shoulders water level outside & electrics were out, I swam to safety leaving Ironically a note for the ambulance in case they were worried I’d been taken in the flood, only to find the ambulance HAD been there, but decided it was too risky for them so they just left!!

I couldn’t believe what they did, left me alone & just drove away, no contact from them, at all, dunno if that’s worth $17.50!a week…😤🤬

  2. Why does it take the ordinary citizens to confront and take down a killer ( with chairs and a milk crate ) yet the ones suppose to be going in fully armed and those sitting in a office giving commands do nothing and then it takes a female officer to end it..

  3. It's a communication fault. Ambulance officers aren't allowed into a 'hot zone' until they're given clearance by a superior. In this case, if there had been a second offender, and a paramedic went into help injured people only to get injured/killed by the second offender, then that means another person to retrieve, and one less paramedic to be able to help others. If a paramedic were to break ranks and go into a scene like this, they'll probably get investigated. If they got hurt, again they will be investigated, and the onus will be on them for not following protocols.

There's nothing worse than standing around and wanting to help, when you've been told to stand by and wait for further instructions. Those paramedics waiting outside want to be inside.

  4. I 3/4 severed my left hand having former advanced first aid training myself and the quick response of ambulance is the only reason iam still here. The more blood you loose the longer takes for someone to get you greatly increases chance of death. I had 8 hrs surgery required many bags of blood I cut through all my arteries tendon’s everything and time mattered. Because of the delays on ambulance getting to there patients I have know doubt after my experience that the chances of people laying there bleeding out praying for help that never arrived in time is highly probable. So sad 😢
