Kashmir – Led Zeppelin

Kashmir by Led Zeppelin

Lyrics:

Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream
I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been
To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed

Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, whose sounds caress my ear
But not a word I heard could I relate, the story was quite clear
Oh, oh.

Oh, I been flying… mama, there aint no denyin
Ive been flying, aint no denyin, no denyin

All I see turns to brown, as the sun burns the ground
And my eyes fill with sand, as I scan this wasted land
Trying to find, trying to find where Ive been.

Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace, like thoughts inside a dream
Heed the path that led me to that place, yellow desert stream
My shangri-la beneath the summer moon, I will return again
Sure as the dust that floats high in June, when movin through Kashmir

Oh, father of the four winds, fill my sails, across the sea of years
With no provision but an open face, along the straits of fear
Ohh.

When Im on, when Im on my way, yeah
When I see, when I see the way, you stay-yeah

Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, when Im down…
Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, well Im down, so down
Ooh, my baby, ooooh, my baby, let me take you there

Let me take you there. let me take you there

  3. In 1975 I was a freshman in high school. It was on this day November 7th, I ran my final Cross Country race, and met my first high school girl friend. I bought Physical Graffiti a week or two later, hey I'm 62, can't remember everything, but I bought it after spending the day working in a pecan orchard raising the money. Cause it was a double album it cost around $11.00. My brother took me to this old style bookstore that also sold records. I played Trampled Underfoot which at the time was, I think, was the current song on the radio. Followed by Kashmir. Been a Zep fan since '73, Bonzo was my favorite, having been a drum fan. 🥁 So, with Kashmir…
But the album, I was a major fan. And I miss my 1st h/s girlfriend.
Every November since 1975, I think about how fun November was in 1975. I was 15 years old.

  4. Honestly this one song is better than the whole of modern music lol

  5. Been listening to this song for now 40 years and can never! Un-hear the anger, agony and dismay that the Globalist and tyrant Church/Catholics have brought to this Earth! for over 1,500 years. Perhaps it is simply the symbolic echoes of all my bottled up anger towards GOVERNMENT OVER REACH! …Love this song!

    4) Digital Security :-
State of the art technology has been used to develop advanced concepts such as "Walk through Security" to reduce passenger wait times, while biometrics can be used to automate verification process and reduce staffing.
Ex:- X ray checks, unmanned immigration control,CCTV security survelliance.
