  1. Your cyclone image in the bottom right corner is incorrect, the tail should be on the bottom, in the south. The way it is the direction it’s spinning in doesn’t make any sense. You’re showing a northern hemisphere cyclone spinning in the wrong direction.

  2. Matt Johnston clearly doesn't grasp the meaning of "unrelenting"… if the wind and rain has "started to blast tge coast again" then at some stage Matt, they must have relented… take the time to learn some English.. maybe listen to a podcast whilst you go to the gym and try and develop some shoulders? This whole 'news' segment is shameless fear mongering… Tropical Storm Risk has this as a storm, not even a cat1… and when/if it hits land, it'll be a depression, not even a storm…

  3. Thank Christ we just got out of Brisbane and back to CQ. Not because of the cyclone, but because of the whole carry on surrounding it. Panic buying, sandbagging etc.etc. It’s a Cat 2, up here that means better surfing and greener grass, down in the South east corner it means Armageddon apparently. The news certainly have some explaining to do. Watched nine news the other night and they were using footage from the 2011 floods (no watermark to indicate that it was file footage) and footage from other storms and cyclones. Tell people the truth. It will get windy, but it won’t rip your roof off (that’s more like a Cat 4/5 like we went through ten years ago with Marcia), the rain will be the kicker (especially northern NSW), as town planners down that way have kept piling people on top of each other with very little consideration for proper drainage.

  4. 0:33 Person with an umbrella lol News reporters like "The winds are really intensifying. I am struggling to hold on…"
Wish that thing would get a move on. The doom and gloom is starting to get boring.
