Never ceases to amaze me how Australia builds towns in flood plains and then is shocked when it floods.

At this point, I'm getting really tired of my insurance policies going up because of weather incidents in Queensland. We need to separate States when it comes to insurance. States are responsible for their own issues, it shouldn't be the responsibility of other states to constantly bail them out when it is a constantly occurring problems. Yes, we are ALL Australian, and should be there for each other, but Queensland issues are getting old and now need to be addressed. Either the Federal government signs a deal to constantly support them, or the rest of the States needs to renegotiate the cost. Enough.
